Anahid was born in Boston, Massachusetts and currently resides in Los Angeles. She is a first generation Armenian and is fluent in Armenian. She trained in NYC with Richard Pinter privately and at The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre and is a graduate of the Meisner Technique. A member of SAG AFTRA, Anahid has performed on stages in New York City, San Diego and Los Angeles and starred in several indie films, most recently BETRAYAL and NO MORE MR. NICE GUY

Recent theatre credits include Antaeus Theatre and ADAA staged readings of the Karen Kondazian Award for Armenian Stories finalists "Forgotten Bread" by Sevan Greene and "Ermeni" by Eric Sirakian; "Mother and Child Reunion" by Lisa Kirazian at Museum of Photographic Art in San Diego; "The Perils of Politeness Live On"  and "Another Man's Son" by Bianca Bagatourian at Los Angeles Theater Center and "March" (Voices from the Armenian Genocide) by Bianca Bagatourian at the Alex Theatre. 

Anahid is also an accomplished classical pianist and professionally trained in jazz, musical theatre and Armenian Folk dance. Her greatest gift is her son Diran whose spirit and wisdom is a source of inspiration and joy every day.
